The University of Florida cares about the health and well-being of its students.
The Student Health Care Center (SHCC), established in 1906, is an accredited outpatient clinic staffed by licensed, board-certified medical providers who pride themselves in keeping UF’s students, faculty and staff healthy through a wide variety of primary and specialty care services. The Counseling and Wellness Center also offers mental health and crisis counseling, and the university features state-of-the-art exercise facilities and recreational sports programs for all UF students.
