BME Branding Guidelines and Templates

Everything produced as a communications tool – whether internal or external – is subject to graphic standards guidelines. Our brand is what students, faculty, alumni, corporations, peers and outside observers all think, feel and respond to when they hear the department mentioned. The following graphical elements can be used when you are representing the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering Department.  No other use is permitted.

Primary logo: The primary logo is the choice for use for UF BME communications. The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering logo should be used on all primary communications. The logo’s dimensions, color and design may not be altered in any way. Never cut, realign, reduce or enlarge any element within the logo.

Clear zones: The logo must be surrounded on all sides by clear space. Clear space is the open, protected zone surrounding the logo. Allow for as much white space as possible around the logo. This space is identified to protect the visual integrity of the logo.

Primary graphic: The ‘Engineers for Life’ image is a primary graphic. This image can’t be used alone and must be used with UF BME’s primary logo. Both the Primary logo and the Primary graphic cannot be next to each other. Please see below for a sample of appropriate space.

Templates: BME PowerPoint templates are below, if you need further assistance please email Candi Crimmins at ccrimmins@bme.ufl.edu.
