Nahis showcases her summer research at AIChE 2023

On November 6th, Nahis Cruz-Delgado presented her research at the American Institute for Chemical Engineers (AIChE) 2023 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. This conference is the educational forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth. Nahis is an undergraduate student at the University of Puerto Rico who has previously conducted research in the Sharma Lab through the NSF REU program in 2022. Nahis was such an amazing student that she was accepted back into the program to conduct more research this year. Her work initiated a collaborative project between the Sharma Lab and the Rinaldi-Ramos Lab. At AIChE, Nahis presented her work, titled “Optimizing Natural Killer Cell Labeling Using Magnetic Particle Imaging Tailored Tracers”.
