This meeting is for anyone interested in being an advocate for diversity and equality. The goal of this new organization is to make changes to UF that will help everyone be included and to eliminate harassment /sexism /racism as well as educate people on these topics. As a part of our club we will work with the diversity board for the college of engineering – a newly implemented board – to make sure changes are implemented, evaluated, and maintained over time.

We will also participate in diversity training activities and create healthy relationships with our peers. It is important to understand people’s backgrounds and where they came from in order to see that people are not only what meets the eye. If you come and participate you will get to share about yourself and make new friends.
