Congratulations to Natalie Nelson who has been selected to participate in the University Scholars Program under Dr. William Ogle!

Natalie will conduct research with Dr. Ogle, her mentor. Upon completion of the project, she will be required to write a research paper that must be submitted for publication to the UF Journal of Undergraduate Research (JUR) (or another scholarly journal). She will also be required to present her results at the University Scholars Symposium, which will be held in Spring 2011 semester.

As a University Scholar, the students will be awarded a $2,000 stipend and additional $500 will be available to them for research support, such as travel to a relevant scholarly conference.
