Bolch appointed Chair of the Radiation Therapeutics and Biology Study Section

We are pleased to announce and congratulate Distinguished Professor Dr. Wesley Bolch on his prestigious appointment as the Chair of the Radiation Therapeutics and Biology Study Section (RTB), Biology of Development and Aging Integrated Review Group (BDA) at the esteemed Center for Scientific Review.

Dr. Bolch’s outstanding achievements, competence, and contributions to scientific journals, as well as his significant involvement in various scientific activities, have led to his well-deserved nomination for this role.

The RTB Study Section plays a crucial role in evaluating and reviewing applications focused on the therapeutic interactions of ionizing radiation, radionuclides, electromagnetic radiation, and heat at the molecular, cellular, organ, and patient levels. This comprehensive scope encompasses a wide range of research, spanning from fundamental investigations into DNA damage responses and DNA repair to preclinical applications involving the manipulation of variables such as dose, dose rate, type of radiation, and radiation quality.
