The Medical Physics and BME students got together to Relay for Life in the fight against Cancer on the weekend of April 14th and 15th. Led by team captain, Matt Hoerner, more than 20 students raised money for the American Cancer Society and continuously walked the track for 18 hours to raise awareness and spread hope. Dressing like pirates and parading their ship named “Survivor” around the track, the enthusiastic group placed third in the spirit competition. The team thanks all of their donors and the department for it’s support as well.
