Congratulations to Magda Samojlik!

Big congrats to Magdalena Samojlik, Ph.D. candidate in the Stabler lab, for her recent award of a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship for her project titled, Engineering a dynamic three-dimensional in vitro platform for the investigation of human Type 1 Diabetes immunopathogenesis!

The prestigious fellowship will support Magda’s PhD research in creating 3D co-culture platforms for interrogating immune cell responses to beta cells. This innovative work will help contribute to our overall goal of creating diabetes-on-a-chip devices. Congrats Magda!!
