UF BME continues to rise in national rankings

For the fourth year in a row, the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering has risen in the U.S. News & World Report’s national rankings.

Since 2012, UF BME has climbed 11 spots to No. 22 among public institutions in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate School Rankings.  Among public and private institutions, UF BME is ranked No. 41, representing a 16 spot increase from 2012.

These rankings reflect the hard work and commitment of our faculty, staff and students to provide the highest quality academic and research programs. UF BME aims to lead in the discovery and development of innovation biomedical solutions to improve healthcare in the State of Florida and worldwide. We are continuing to recruit preeminent faculty and superior graduate students as we expand our research and educational efforts further.
