Congratulations to Dr Ying Li on the successful defense of her PhD dissertation entitled “The Mechanistic Study of Host Adaptive Immune Responses to Microencapsulated Cellular Grafts using an Antigen-Specific In Vitro Model”! Her work provides a platform to investigate and manipulate immune responses to encapsulated cells, which can provide insight into ways to elevate the clinical efficacy of these implants.
