Sharma Lab at ORS 2020

In February, Dr. Sharma and several members of the lab attended the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) annual meeting in Phoenix, AZ.

While at the meeting, Tolulope Ajayi gave a podium presentation entitled “Modeling Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis Through NonInvasive ACL Rupture in Rats.” This project was completed by lab alumni Shannon Brown in collaboration with lab members Tolu Ajayi, Jessica Hornyak, and Ryan Jungels. As well as with collaborators from the OrthoBME laboratory: Dr. Yash Shah, Dr. Elena Yarmola, and Dr. Kyle Allen.

Additionally, Shreedevi Kumar presented a poster on ” Chondroprotective Mechanisms Of Manganese Dioxide Nanoparticles For Intra-articular Therapies” during the conference. Well done to both Tolu and Shree for their work and their presentations!
