Recent review article on “Bench‐to‐Bedside Lessons Learned”. A recent article written by Mary Kasper from the lab, “Bench‐to‐Bedside Lessons Learned: Commercialization of an Acellular Nerve Graft”, was published in Advanced Healthcare Materials and was co-authored with AxoGen. The article is a nice historical summary of the research in the Schmidt Lab that helped contribute to AxoGen’s Avance nerve graft, and discusses some of the challenges on the research side as well as challenges faced by AxoGen in commercialization.
