Fang elevated to IEEE Senior Member

Congratulations to Dr. Ruogu Fang, assistant professor, who was recently named a Senior Member of IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

The IEEE organization is the world’s largest technical professional society and serves professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic, and computing fields and related areas of science and technology.

IEEE Senior Members are eligible to hold executive IEEE volunteer positions; can serve as a reference for other applicants for Senior Membership; and are invited to participate on the panel to review Senior Member applications.

The IEEE’s criteria for elevating members to the Senior Member grade includes ten years of professional experience, five years of significant performance, and three references from current IEEE members holding Senior Member, Fellow, or Honorary Member grade.
