Abstract: PRISMAᴾ is a collaborative research partnership of scientists at University of Florida for design, development and implementation of intelligent health systems to guide patients and health care providers towards personalized and more precise diagnosis and therapy in medicine.  This presentation will outline PRISMAᴾ structure, achievements, ongoing challenges and future research.

Bio: Dr. Azra Bihorac is a R. Glenn Davis Associate Professor of Medicine, Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, & Renal Transplantation at the University of Florida. She practices critical care and nephrology at UF Health.  Her career-long clinical and research interest is in critical illnesses and in particular acute kidney injury. She has an abiding interest in complex biological systems, in human – machine interaction and in the use of rapid analytic techniques to optimize the care of the unstable patient in real time.
