The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Gainesville Student Organization at the University of Florida is starting its 2013-14 academic year activities with a kick-off social event featuring a keynote speech from the IEEE EMBS President Dr. Bruce Wheeler. IEEE EMBS Gainesville Student Organization aims to build bridges between Engineering and Medicine on campus and invites engineers, scientists and clinicians from all disciplines with the common goal of improving human health. The Kick-off Event will take place on October 9th, 2013 at 4pm in the Biomedical Sciences Building Atrium with door prizes, food and refreshments. Come and see what IEEE EMBS is all about.
