On March 22, 2013, the student chapter for the Society for Biomaterials at the University of Florida will be hosting our inaugural Biomaterials Day entitled “Innovative Technologies in Biomaterials”. The one-day symposium will consist of two main sessions: a session of talks given by top researchers and faculty members in the biomedical field, and a tabling session where students can meet and network with representatives from biotechnology companies. The day will feature our keynote speaker Dr. Adam W. Feinberg, a professor in regenerative biomaterials from Carnegie Mellon. There will also be a poster session for students (undergraduate and graduate) to present their research.

The event will be held in J. Wayne Reitz Union Grand Ballroom from 9 am- 4:30 pm, with food and refreshments being served throughout the day. A cash prize will be given for the best poster!
