Dr. Jon Dobson becomes an associate editor of the Journal of Nanoparticle Research

The Journal of Nanoparticle Research, published by Springer, is the first interdisciplinary journal devoted to Nanoparticle science and technology. JNR is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal focusing on concepts, properties, phenomena, and processes related to particles, tubes, layers, macromolecules, clusters and other finite structures of the nanoscale size range.

Dr. Dobson’s research focuses on biomedical applications of magnetic micro- and nanoparticles, including nanomagnetic gene transfection and cell targeting, remote nanomagnetic activation of cell signaling and control of cellular processes, novel magnetic biomarker harvesting technologies, mesoscale magnetic structures and biofunctionalization, and studies of brain iron related to neurodegeneration.
