Dr. Gunduz selected as CTSI KL2 scholar

Congratulations to Assistant Professor, Dr. Ayse Gunduz, who was selected as a UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) KL2 Scholar! Dr. Gunduz is the first CTSI KL2 Scholar from the College of Engineering.

The CTS K Scholar Multidisciplinary Program is a highly competitive research training and funding opportunity for junior faculty at UF to foster a career in clinical/ translational research. Didactic coursework, mentored research and multidisciplinary teamwork are offered to develop the skills necessary to build a well-funded collaborative research career. CTS K Scholars are expected to conduct an independent research project that is clinical or translational in nature and designed to be completed well within the two years of program participation. The project must be clearly clinical/ translational in nature.

Congratulations, Dr. Gunduz!
