Dr. Clark studies the neural control of walking in people with neurological impairment, with a focus on rehabilitation. His research uses several approaches including brain imaging with functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); brain neuromodulation with transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS); biomechanics of gait; and behavioral rehabilitation and motor learning paradigms.
