BME student, Michael Hermansen, receives Health Physics Society Fellowship

The Health Physics Society selected BME graduate student, Michael Hermansen as the recipient of the J. Newell Stannard Fellowship. The award, valued at $5000 will assist Michael in pursuing his graduate studies in Medical Physics. In addition, he is provided with a travel grant of up to $800 to attend the 2015 Health Physics Society Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, IN.

Michael is a current graduate assistant working with BME affiliate faculty, Dr. Frank Bova, in his lab at the McKnight Brain Institute.
