BME student, Aniruddh Ravindran, selected as 2015 Engineering M.S. Scholar

Congratulations to BME student, Aniruddh Ravindran, who was just selected as the College of Engineering M.S. Scholar for 2015!

Aniruddh Ravindran is graduating with a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in entrepreneurship. His work as the executive vice president of the UF Entrepreneurship Club has made him an active networker across campus and in Gainesville’s expanding innovation community. By carrying those connections into the international community – through his role in the Indian Graduate Student Association – he helped many of his international peers integrate more fully into the local community, and expand their opportunities.

His graduate research has focused on neuroscience, imaging and computational intelligence. He hopes to work in brain computer interfacing, helping to develop devices for people with neurological disorders. He plans continue his studies at UF, working towards his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering program that collaborates with the Brain Rehabilitation Research Center at the Veterans Affairs medical center.

Aniruddh will be recognized during the College’s annual spring Faculty and Awards Banquet on April 23rd and featured in the College’s Commencement Program.

Congratulations, Aniruddh!
