BME alumni share their expertise at Alumni Connect

The J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering recently hosted an Alumni Connect event for undergraduate and graduate students.

The department invited an outstanding group of UF BME alumni to share their roles in industry and non-industry backgrounds, their recommendations to students about finding opportunities and the attitudes and skills that successful candidates possess. BME students were able to ask career related questions and advice and gain a better understanding of the recruitment process while honing in on their skills.

UF BME alumni in attendance (from left to right):

Troy Templin, Quality Engineer, LivaNova

Shashank Kabra, Manufacturing Engineering, Axogen

Albina Mikhaylova, Ph.D., Assistant Director, Materials Science & Engineering, University of North Florida

Stephen Myers, Ph.D., Associate, Foley & Lardner, LLP

The BME department is grateful to our alumni who so graciously volunteered their time to participate in the event!
