October 30, 2015: Lab Halloween Decorations and BME Award Winner
In the 2nd Annual BME Halloween Decorating contest, the Schmidt Lab competed with 5 other labs for different award categories such as: Best Complete Halloween Experience, Most Creative/Clever Decorations and Least Spooky/Most Kid Friendly. The Undergraduate design lab (Dr. Arce), the Otto lab and the Stabler lab all participated for the first time with Halloween decorations. The competition was intensified with themed labs like the Minions of the Rinaldi lab and the Spooky Forest of the Allen lab. All in all everyone had a great time and the Schmidt Lab won the award for “Best Complete Halloween Experience” with the theme – The Spider’s Lair.
