Master's Degrees in Biomedical Engineering

For both of our master's degrees, students choose whether or not to do a thesis. If you choose to do so, you'll be required to pass an oral final exam. If you choose to skip the thesis, you'll have to pass a written exam. The degrees require 30 credit hours of appropriate courses, and all of your degree work must be completed within seven years.

Master of Engineering

The ME degree is geared toward students with a background in engineering. It's awarded only to those who have a BS in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

Master of Science

The MS degree is available to qualifying students with an undergraduate degree in any appropriate area.
