The University of Florida is located in Gainesville, Fla., a city devoted to education and research. On campus, our building's strategic location reinforces our collaborations with major research institutions. It's across the street from the University's Health Science Center and the College of Medicine, Shands at UF and the McKnight Brain Institute. The College of Engineering and the Veterans Administration Hospital are also within easy walking distance. This location provides us with a unique opportunity to develop a program that physically and intellectually connects engineering and medicine.
